New "Houses" program launches at HSCA
Among the new programs that we've launched this year at Holy Savior Catholic Academy is what we are calling "Houses." This summer, Dr. Delia Shropshire, President of HSCA, worked hard on establishing this program, in which there are four "houses" for students in the third through eighth grades. These four Houses are named after St. Peter Claver, St. Felicity, St. Perpetua, and Venerable Pierre Toussaint to inspire students to follow their example. Goals of this program include increasing the feeling of belonging for our students, increasing cross-class relationships, connecting the students more closely with a saint and their virtues, and fostering some fun competition at Holy Savior.
We kicked off the program for students during an energy-filled assembly and are excited about that will occur throughout the year!
