Saint James Catholic School

The halls of Saint James Catholic School are once again filled with laughter, smiles, conversation, and the joyful energy of students and staff returning for a new school year.

From the moment our students arrived, the excitement was easy to see. Friends greeted one another, teachers welcomed their classes with warm smiles, and families celebrated the beginning of another important chapter in their children’s lives. For some students, it was a happy return to familiar classrooms and friendships. For others, it was the beginning of a brand-new journey at Saint James.

Our children are happy to be back! Throughout the school, learning is already taking place in our classrooms as students explore new ideas, participate in engaging activities, and discover the joy of learning together. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and excitement bring our classrooms to life and remind us why every new school year is filled with so much promise.

Our students are also enjoying time outside the classroom. They are excited to participate in Physical Education classes, where they can move, play, build teamwork, develop healthy habits, and simply enjoy being together. Whether they are learning in the classroom, playing with friends, or participating in school activities, their smiles reflect the joy of being part of the Saint James family.

One of the most beautiful parts of returning to school is gathering together to celebrate the Holy Mass. Our students are happy to participate in Mass, pray together, sing, listen to God’s Word, and celebrate the Eucharist as one faith-filled community. These moments remind us that Christ is at the center of our school and that everything we learn and accomplish begins with our relationship with God.

Our teachers and staff are equally excited to be back. They have prepared their classrooms and learning spaces with great care, but most importantly, they have prepared their hearts to welcome each child. At Saint James, education is about more than academics. We are committed to educating the whole child- mind, heart, body, and spirit- while helping every student recognize and develop the unique gifts God has given them.

There will be lessons to learn, goals to achieve, challenges to overcome, friendships to strengthen, and many memories to create. Through it all, we look forward to supporting one another and celebrating the accomplishments, big and small, that make each school year so meaningful.
